Data that may be processed

The website does not include its own booking or contact forms. The data processed depends on the action taken by the user:

• Identification and contact details voluntarily included in an email, phone call or WhatsApp conversation.
• Professional details and information included in a CV when an application is sent by email.
• Booking details entered directly by the user into the external DISH provider.
• Technical and navigation data needed to serve, protect and diagnose the website, handled by the hosting provider.
• The consent choice stored locally in the browser.

Purposes and legal bases

Data will only be processed for purposes connected with the interaction carried out:

• Answering questions, information requests and booking-related requests: taking pre-contractual steps, carrying out a request and, where applicable, the legitimate interest in responding.
• Managing applications and assessing professional profiles: consent given when the application is sent and, where applicable, pre-contractual steps.
• Maintaining website security, availability and operation: the controller's legitimate interest.
• Loading Vercel Analytics, Google Maps or the DISH booking widget: separate consent for each non-essential option.
• Meeting legal obligations and handling liabilities: a legal obligation where applicable.

Data source and voluntary nature

Personal data comes from the individual concerned or from the external platform they choose to use. Providing data is voluntary, although not doing so may prevent us from answering a question, assessing an application or completing a booking.

Bookings and communications made inside Google, DISH, WhatsApp, delivery or other services are also governed by the relevant provider's policy.

Providers and international transfers

The website uses Vercel for hosting, content delivery and infrastructure. According to its public documentation, Vercel may process information in the United States and other countries through its infrastructure and subprocessors. A particular Functions or CDN region does not guarantee exclusive data residence in France or the European Union.

International transfers may occur when external providers are used. The safeguards required by law and applicable to the provider and contracted configuration will be used, such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or other valid mechanisms.

The first-party analytics system based on Vercel Blob is not active. The public website uses Vercel Analytics only after optional consent. Google Maps, DISH, WhatsApp, delivery, social networks, digital menu services and review websites may process data under their own policies when the user accesses them.

Retention periods

Questions will be retained for as long as needed to handle them and then for the periods needed to meet obligations or defend possible claims.

Applications will be retained during the selection process and deleted or restricted when no longer needed, unless the candidate authorises retention for future opportunities or a legal obligation requires continued storage.

Data processed by Vercel Analytics and external integrations will be retained according to the applicable configuration and each provider's policies. The consent choice remains in the browser's local storage for up to 12 months, unless it is changed or deleted earlier.

Data-subject rights

Individuals may request access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, and portability where applicable. Consent may also be withdrawn at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. We will respond within the statutory period, normally one month, subject to any extensions allowed by law.

To exercise these rights, email info@barkadsburgers.com stating the requested right and providing enough information to verify identity. If you believe processing breaches the law, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Security, automated decisions and changes

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. This website does not make automated decisions with legal effects on users.

This policy may be updated when the website, services or applicable obligations change. The published version is the version in force at any time.
